"The importance Piraeus Bank places on culture is irrefutably great and it proves this on a daily basis with its actions through its Cultural Foundation (PIOP). The Foundation’s primary aim is the recognition of the history of technology of Greek culture and this aim is strengthened by the creation of Museums, the organizing of exhibitions, the publication of books as well as a multitude of other activities which assist in promoting and preserving Greek Culture. It is an additional project which, in these times of crisis in humanitarian values, contributes to the preservation of the distinct character of our people.
