Piraeus Bank is launching the one-stop payment services for 2013 Road Use Tax at its own network as well as former ATEBank's network, offering the facility of up to 6 interest-free payments using the Bank's credit cards.
Citizens do not need to first download the Road Use Tax notice from the taxisnet website. They only need to visit a Bank branch, with the vehicle's license plate number and the owner's tax identification number, and the Bank will automatically retrieve the necessary payment codes and the amount due directly from the Ministry of Finance General Secretariat for Information Systems, to conclude the payment process.
Any citizen can use the Bank's now large network of branches, or connect to the online services of winbank.gr, easypay.ge and ATEBannk.gr, in order to pay the Road Use Tax, and choose direct debit of a bank account, cash payment, or debit card payment. Indeed, holders of Piraeus Bank or ATEbank credit cards can enjoy the facility of up to 6 monthly interest free instalments, both in branches and in online payments.
Through its e-banking services, Piraeus Bank supports the Finance Ministry's efforts to provide fully electronic services to citizens, thus making their lives easier and giving them multiple payment options.
