On 15.7.2010, Piraeus Bank expressed its interest in acquiring 77,31% of Agricultural Bank of Greece SA (ATE) and 33,04% of Hellenic Postbank (ΤΤ), held by the Greek state as shareholder, through the privatization procedure.
In this framework and following daily press releases, Piraeus Bank is clarifying that it will determine in due time -depending on the progress of the procedure -and will disclose to the investment community the way of raising the required capital.
