The new "winbank international" computing platform, which encompasses the e-banking services in all countries where Piraeus Group is in business, received the "Highly Commended" award by Banking Technology, the leading magazine in the banking IT sector. This is the second award for the winbank international platform, following the international award received from Microsoft Corp. last March, and the fourth award for Piraeus Bank at the annual Banking Technology Awards.
These international, as well as national awards received by Piraeus Bank confirm the quality of e-services offered, as reflected also by the high customer satisfaction expressed by many people that now use winbank (e-banking) on a daily basis to carry out bank transactions via the internet. This preference of customers to self-service is also proven by the fact that over 60% of money transactions carried out by Piraeus Bank customers, such as money transfers, remittances, payments, are through winbank.
