Following the latest increase of the European Central Bank's intervention rate by 0.25%, as of Wednesday 14.3.07 Piraeus Bank is adjusting certain of its savings and credit floating rates.
Increases in rate ranges for Savings Accounts and Piraeus Payroll Accounts are as high as 0.25% and rates are adjusted as follows:
- Savings Account: from 1% to 3%
- Savings "Plus" Account: from 1% to 3.25%
- Piraeus Payroll Account : από 2,30% μέχρι 3%
The following interest rates remain unchanged:
- Mortgage Loan Preferential Interest Rate
- Prime Mortgate Rate
- Credit card interest rate for the 1st year and the balance transfer rate, 4.9%
The following credit rates are increased by 0,25%:
- Base Credit Rate, Preferential Credit Rate, Base Long-Term Credit Rate, Business Premises Loans Interest Rate, Consumer Credit Base Rate and the Credit Card Interest Rates.
